Managing Multiple Clinic Branches
How to use the organization dashboard, switch between branches, and manage cross-branch permissions with the Big Clinic plan.
One Login, Every Branch
The moment a practice opens its second location, the questions change shape: not "how are we doing?" but "how is each branch doing — and who's allowed to see which?" The organization layer answers both. It comes with the Big Clinic plan, and owners and Full Access members will find Organization in Settings once it's active.
The Org Dashboard
Dashboard > Organization is the consolidated view: totals across every branch — appointments, revenue, patients, and SMS sent today — with a data-freshness timestamp so you know how current the numbers are. Below the totals, the branch performance table puts the branches side by side: appointments today, revenue this month, active patients, SMS today, and each branch's subscription status. This is the owner's morning screen — one look answers which location needs a call today.
Switching Branches
The branch switcher — horizontal cards, with your primary branch badged "Primary" and an open/closed status on each — is how you move between locations. Click a card (or a row in the performance table) and your active clinic switches: the sidebar, patients, schedule, and reports all now show that branch. Day-to-day work always happens inside one active branch at a time; the org pages are the view from above, not a place to edit records.
Consolidated Billing
Organization > Billing rolls up the money: Total Cost across subscriptions, Billing Status with a per-status breakdown, Failed Payments (the tile to check first — a failed branch payment left alone becomes a locked branch), and Monthly Revenue. Tabs split the detail into Branches, Transactions, and Invoices. The overview is deliberately read-only: to actually change a card or plan, the branch rows link straight into that clinic's own Settings > Billing.
One Team, Per-Branch Access
Organization > Team manages people across the whole organization. Invite Member assigns access branch by branch, and every member's row shows exactly where they can work and as what — "{branch} ({role})", or "No access". This is how the floating dentist works Mondays in Makati and Thursdays in Alabang under one account, and how the org keeps the Makati front desk out of Alabang's records. Status flows through Invited → Active → Inactive, and clicking a row opens the member detail panel for changes.
Patients Across Branches
Records are per-branch by default — each location has its own patient base, schedule, and reports. The bridge is deliberate and narrow: org owners get a Search all branches checkbox on the Patients page, and patients shared across branches carry a purple "Home: {clinic}" badge and open read-only from a borrowing branch. Real transfers of care stay an explicit act, not an accident of search.
Running a Healthy Org
Three habits cover most of it: check the org dashboard each morning (one screen, every branch), treat the Failed Payments tile as a same-day errand, and review Organization > Team quarterly — access accumulates, and the audit is five minutes now versus an awkward conversation later.
